Dear S&S,

I want to get you caught up on my transition from my Boston partners, Target Logistics. I still own a large share of the company and wish them success, but our business philosophies differed and it was time for me to move on.  It wouldn’t have been good for the Jay Allen name and brand, as well as for my sponsors, if I had remained. But heading forward, what does that mean for my ability to earn your sponsorship…

• I killed it for S&S in Daytona, provided a strong presence in Laconia, and will be moving the S&S Smokeout to the “Original Broken Spoke” in Sturgis.
• In the Fall, I will be debuting the S&S Smokeout at the “Lone Star Rally” in Galveston, TX - It puts Biketoberfest in Daytona to shame!
• My partner at the downtown Spoke owns over 51% of Lone Star so I can get you a very reasonable rate to send your company Rig. Call Brigitte Bourget for a testimonial.

On top of building and traveling with my S&S-powered collection of bikes, I also set 4 land speed records at the AMA/BUB event. I did it in 8 passes! (It takes 2 passes to set each record). The motor is one of your “plain-Jane” 124-inchers with Rob Schopf’s touch on your B-2 heads. I’m the smallest motor in my class.  I hope that his makes you proud! You guys really do have an amazing product!

For 2012, I’ll be ramping up my presence in the motorcycle world...
• I’m in the process of fabricating a 24” box truck with the cab of a 1948 Diamond T, that will be wrapped with my sponsors.
• I not only will be MC-ing many of the events, I also will have my burnout bikes to initiate the S&S Smokeouts and the Baker Smokedown Showdowns!
• Along with my participation in these events, I’ll be filming them and will be the host of an motorcycle show tailored for our armed forces that will go out to millions of viewers.
• I am endorsed by Rolling Thunder and will be debuting S&S-powered military-themed bikes for the 25th anniversary
in May of 2012.

Brigitte Bourget is one of the builders committed to fabricating one of the five bikes. I supply the power plant and transmissions and delivered to her the S&S 93” Panhead. My army bike is what started the project and I’m just about done with a KN bike. My current sponsorship is 4 motors a year. One of which I give away in Sturgis on S&S night. It can be a “reman” or whatever your company will supply.

As always, the high-octane S&S Cycle films, miking bikes on an 80,000-watt system, and the Smokeout, coupled with Bonneville testimonials most definitely connect the brand to the consumer indelibly. I’d like to think the grass-root method I use to promote the S&S brand is one of the most effective methods of marketing. I am confident this will transcend in sales to S&S Cycle.

Regards,

Jay Allen
